Grand Prix Sold

A long established motor repair garage just off the A66 at Brough in east Cumbria, known as Grand Prix Services, has been sold to HW Martin (Traffic Management) Limited. The 2.5 acre site fronted the A66 until the by-pass was built in the 1970's. It was first used for motor repairs in 1918 and subsequently included petrol sales, a transport cafe, coach services and, at one time, a night club. Mere Commercial marketed and sold the property on behalf of Frank Allison Limited.
