Shap Chippy Changes Hands

Shap Chippy has changed hands following a sale through Mere Commercial. The highly popular takeaway and café on the main street in the upland village of Shap has been acquired by Matthew and Ashley Phillips who have relocated to the area from Essex. The sale was agreed within 6 months of Mere putting the business and freehold property on the market on behalf of Jo Hampson and Georgina Perkins.
